KHSA is Hiring! Executive Director
The Kansas Head Start Association (KHSA) is in search of its next Executive Director. KHSA works to strengthen the Head Start/Early Head Start programs in Kansas through advocacy, professional development, and leadership. The KHSA Executive Director serves under the general direction of the Board of Directors. Through the policies established by the Board, the Executive Director has overall responsibility for the operation of the Association. The Executive Director effectively represents the Association to State, Regional, and Federal agencies and programs and develops, supports, facilitates, and achieves the vision and goals of the Association.

KHSA Executive Director to Serve on Governor's Early Childhood Transition Task Force
KHSA Executive Director Jennifer Adhima has been chosen to serve on Governor Laura Kelly's Early Childhood Transition Task Force. The Task Force is "charged with reviewing Kansas’ early childhood programs and developing a roadmap for the creation of a new state, cabinet-level agency focused solely on supporting the success of our youngest Kansans."
**Note: Two of the other members of the Task Force are KHSA State Children's Champions! Amanda Petersen (2022) and Senator Pat Pettey (2018)**
