Early Childhood Education (ECE) Workforce Videos

Thanks to a recent mini-grant from KCCTO, KHSA has spent the past few months identifying the opportunities that Head Start programs can offer to high school and community college students interested in the early childhood career field.  These include volunteering, observation, and placement opportunities.

KHSA's effort is ongoing.  As part of this work, we created three Early Childhood Education Career Pathway videos highlighting types of early childhood careers, how to enter the early childhood career pathway, and why one might consider working in the ECE field. The videos can be found at these links. Feel free to use these videos for your own programs, if they are helpful.

During the month of July, we will share these videos via KHSA social media accounts and our newsletter, with a link to the job listings on our webpage. As a reminder, we are happy to list any job openings Early Head Start and Head Start programs would like to post on the KHSA website. Send the following information to Karen Brichoux:
