Thank you, Peggy Kelly!

Peggy Appreciation.jpg

At the April 8 APM, the Kansas E/HS program directors and staff presented a gift of appreciation and farewell to KHSA Executive Director Peggy Kelly. Peggy is retiring after many years of service to the state of Kansas and to the Kansas Head Start Association. Peggy will continue as Executive Director of KHSA in the interim period between now and the hiring of a new executive director. Here at KHSA, we will miss her very much and hope she will have a wonderful "retirement!" (because we know Peggy isn't likely to slow down any time soon!)

From Kansas Department of Health and Environment:

Good news, Kansans! We have officially moved into Phase 5 of COVID-19 vaccinations, so all Kansans 16+ are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. As with previous phases, vaccine availability is dependent on federal vaccine supply, and vaccine scheduling happens at the local level. Learn how to find your vaccination destination at KansasVaccine.gov/160/Find-My-Vaccine.
