February is Children's Dental Health Month!
Did you know that and estimated 51 million school hours per year are
lost due to dental-related illness? Poor oral health has been linked
to decreased school performance, poor social relationships, and less
success later in life. Head Start and Early Head Start provide dental screenings for every child and strive to provide learning experiences necessary to succeed in school.
