Healthy social-emotional development of young children is critically important, and a priority issue for KHSA and its member programs. For the past year, KHSA has facilitated the development of an Early Childhood Mental Health Advisory Council and the creation of a statewide strategic plan, as part of the Kansas Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Plan (KECCS).  The ECMH plan will be available during the first quarter of 2008.
